There is something fascinating about watching a potter making pots on a wheel. There is something even more exciting, and that is watching your child create a pot on the potter’s wheel. Isn’t it something you’ve always wanted to try yourself?

Children, and adults alike, are fascinated with clay and its possibilities. It is a great opportunity to introduce a very creative and fun way of learning something new, whilst celebrating a birthday or special occasion with friends.

You can try the potter’s wheel in a number of ways – as a taster session, party or special occasion, as part of our regular workshops or one-to-one tuition. Or Caroline can come to you with a mobile clay event.   

If you want to purchase that special piece of ceramics, enjoy some time at the Nunnington Pottery exhibition and gallery. Caroline has an extensive range of hand-crafted, decorative and practical pieces from under £10, and has a range of ceramics and Art from other local, renowned visiting artists.
